Three of the Missions that are special to our congregation

In 1973, First Presbyterian Church helped establish PCM, an ecumenical organization that seeks to meet the basic human needs of people in our community. Today, our members support PCM by working in the food pantry and donating food to keep the pantry shelves stocked.

 Every Sunday at noon, a meal is available at Broadway United Methodist Church to anyone who needs one. About once a month, a team from our church is responsible for preparing and serving the meal, typically feeding 100-125 people each time.

One of our members is a long-time instructor with Clean Water U. Several years ago, he led a team from First Presbyterian to Kenya where they installed water purification systems in the villages of Kandaria and Katito.
